| Turning up the Summer Heat

If these walls could talk, they would recount decades of fine food, quality entertainment and some of the hottest parties east of Manhattan. Now under new ownership, Bay & Main has stepped up to the plate and is mounting an assault on some of the village’s “trendier” eateries. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Bay & Main Restaurant & Lounge (formerly Bootleggers and The Cinnamon Tree) may still look just as it did when it first opened a few years ago, but this summer things have definitely changed. The restaurant’s new menu boasts an array of delicious local seafood dishes that were sorely lacking in recent years. From fresh favorites like clams, oysters and calamari, to ambitious entrees like the Seafood Bouillabaisse to the Angel Hair Shrimp Scampi, Bay & Main’s delicious new menu is sure to please seafood lovers. Of course, the new menu keeps with Bay & Main’s tradition of offering an extensive choice of vegetarian dishes and delicious steaks and burgers. With its dimly lit brightly colored walls and funky, yet comfortable atmosphere, Bay and Main is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner for two to a huge family get-together. In fact, Bay & Main’s cozy outdoor patio is the perfect spot for any celebration, now that Bay & Main specializes in catering both on and off premises. After the dinner rush, Bay and Main gently eases its patrons into a night of drinking and dancing. A casual lounge atmosphere, eclectic jukebox and one of the most extensive "local" wine lists on the North Fork, make Bay & Main the choice for the more mature over 25 crowd. On weekends, Bay & Main features great drink specials and live music, creating a comfortable house party atmosphere.
